Earth Hour 2025 – One Hour for Awareness
On March 29, Ivy Technology joined the global Earth Hour movement by switching off the lights for one hour. This symbolic act was about more than reducing electricity use – it was a moment to pause and reflect on how we consume energy in our daily lives.
Ivy Technology Malaysia took this a step further by combining Earth Hour with a “Joint Celebration” for Ramadan Buka Puasa. Over 50 employees and customers gathered to break the fast and raise awareness about climate change.
At Ivy, it’s never just about one hour. In 2024, we reduced our global Scope 2 CO₂ emissions by over 7%, thanks to actions like switching to energy-efficient LED lighting, installing smart PID lighting controls, and upgrading our HVAC systems.
Earth Hour may only last 60 minute – but the message behind it can have a lasting impact. Because when we take small steps together, real change begins.
