Today, European Telecom companies are subject to a variety of pressures. Demanding regulations, a heavy Capex uptake, increased interest rates, and limited pricing power in a high-inflation environment all pose a serious threat. At the same time, consumers are demanding more broadband capacity in an increasingly volatile power market. The result is even higher operating costs for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).

The already large demand for private 5G networks is expected to increase. It may be time for MNOs to re-visit their value propositions to remain competitive. Today, consumers and enterprises both expect low latency use cases and new innovative solutions.

The massive synergies between MNOs and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) points to industry consolidation. The positive here is that these pressures create more activities for renewable energy solutions to lower operating costs. This of course implies managing environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) targets.

There’s no doubt that the Telecom industry is growing and evolving in exciting new ways, and we at Ivy Technology are excited for what the future will bring. To learn more about our Telecom services visit: https://lnkd.in/dP73iiJ3
